
JEWEL CITY CONCERT SERIES
OVERVIEW
The Jewel City Concert Series, formerly known as the 222 East Concert Series, is an outdoor concert series located in the Downtown Arts & Entertainment District. Performances may be experienced by children and families. The Jewel City Concert Series began in 2017 to celebrate the renovation and reopening of Glendale's Downtown Central Library, and is sponsored by the Glendale Arts and Culture Commission through funding from the Urban Art Program and with support from the Glendale Library, Arts & Culture.
2025 SERIES SCHEDULE
All concerts are Saturday evenings at 5:00 PM. Admission is free.
Join us for eclectic live music outside on the Artsakh Paseo. Visitors are welcome to bring a chair and enjoy the music on the paseo. Seats are not provided. Performances run 60 minutes without intermission.

Trio SynThesis

Formed in 2015, through relentless experimentation with various genres and creativity, Trio SynThesis discovered a new style of performance. This passionate and soulful trio breathes life into newly created works through their own unique interpretations. This musical family combines violin, piano and percussion instruments to form a diverse array of harmonious masterpieces. Artashes Sinanyan is a percussionist, arranger and instructor. He is performing, touring, teaching and publishing. Zhanna Sinanyan is a pianist/composer. She has been highly revered for her colorful textures and sensitive touch. Ani Sinanyan is a talented, promising young violinist, and winner of many competitions. She is freelancing in many different orchestras and touring with Piano Fantasy band.

Jazz Fusion Funk
Low Poly Cactus is a Jazz-Fusion-Funk band of meme-loving musicians based in Los Angeles. Inspired by the legacy of fusion supergroups, LPC focuses on memorable melodies, complex harmonies, and infectious grooves. Keyboardist-producer Adam Rochelle (PRNDL) and trumpeter-vocalist Mahealane’s collaboration added Johnnie Gilmore, Yuval Sorkin, Nate Taitano and Michael Vokes creating Low Poly Cactus.

MARZOÑA has been making music for more than 15 years, combining his influences, ranging from Arctic Monkeys to Childish Gambino to The Beatles to Broadway musicals, and creating a unique fusion of sounds. From and based in Los Angeles, MARZOÑA continues to passionately play his songs around the city, and will be releasing a new album, Love Songs for Colder Weather, in November. Friends Eric Escalante and Antonio Rodrigo will join MARZOÑA on stage for this performance!
